Storing and Picking Pallets

PowerWCS™ as a warehouse control system is designed to allow our customers “hands-off” pallet storage and staging capabilities.  The process starts with a simple bar code scan.

Information about material on a pallet, either from the bar code scan or database, is used to help PowerWCS™ make crucial decisions in the selection of the appropriate storage locations when entered into the system.

When a retrieval order is placed, the database is searched for those pallets that best meet the order requirements based on standard or customer specific rules.  PowerWCS™™ then controls the delivery of those pallets to the appropriate destination to satisfy the order to ensure that everything you produce is distributed on time and at the quality level you and your customer’s demand.

From the time the pallet is first identified, PowerWCS™ controls and manages that pallet. PowerWCS™ can locate and pull the pallet you need, when you need it regardless of how many pallets you have stored in your PowerStor™ System.  The system can also tell you all information that you need to know about any and every pallet you are holding from the date the product was stored to the location or status of that pallet.
