Inspired by the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) world-class process, PAS/EDGE™ starts with our design and drives our development by “focused” improvement of the design. We measure the success of PAS/EDGE™ by evaluating the following 4 indicators in every system stop:

      1. Time stopped.
      2. Length of time stopped.
      3. Frequency of stops.
      4. Length of time running.

It is our belief that these 4 indicators are basic and comprise what really concerns our customers. Simply, equipment has to function for the entire time it’s needed. Anything less is an opportunity for improvement. Today, no machine is “perfect” but many examples can be given that represent acceptable performance and sustained reliability.

The one factor that makes that possible is a living, well executed and monitored maintenance program that economically gives the customer the most availability with the lowest occurrence of maintenance and equipment downtime.
