An important feature of the PowerStor™ systems
is the ability for authorized personnel to access every level
of the system and have access to every pallet stored within each
module.
Features:
- Every level is independently accessible to allow for maintenance
or audit activities
- Lock Out-Tag Out at each level provides personnel safety when
addressing a problem at a specific level while allowing the
rest of the system to operate normally.
- Catwalk down each aisle provides for secure and safe access
to each level
- Safety harness provides secure and safe operation within each
level
Access Options:
There are multiple access options available depending on a customer’s
preference and availability of space:
- One or both ends of the PowerStor™ system
aisle ways.
- Ladder configuration – a ladder is provided along with
a safety harness to climb to each level where there is a
personnel landing. At each landing there is a Lock
Out-Tag Out configuration that allows that level to be secured
for safe access without impacting the operation of the rest
of the levels.
- Stair configuration – a full stair configuration provides
easier access to each level and can be used in facilities
with more available space.
